swatches.net is a free color resource. We don't run ads, we don't have user accounts, and we don't sell personal data. This page explains what is collected when you visit.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how people find the site, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects information like the pages you view, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and the referring site. We use this data only in aggregate. Google processes it under its own privacy policy.
You can opt out by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or with a content blocker.
Tools run in your browser
The converters, contrast checker, color blindness simulator and generators run entirely in your browser. The colors you type are not sent to us.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by a hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare). Like any web server, it processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser types to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers.
If you email us (for example to suggest a palette), we use your address only to reply. We don't add you to mailing lists or share your email.
